Valerius manifested his psionic powers in his youth as most do. He had been training to be a warrior to protect his village from the opposing Red Dragons that shared the same mountain range. His powers manifested in the normal ways, objects the seemed to move on their own or when in combat training the targets exploding. Val eventually went out on his own to find someone to help him learn how to control his new found abilities, during his travels he had found himself fighting a malevolent being inside a dead old god, having slain this foe and during the fight pledging his loyalty to the goddess, Siianna.
