My name is Aglaia! I'm a story teller or some call Dungeon Master for the table-top game of Dungeons and Dragons. In these pages include stories from our favorite D&D moments and also postings about our current adventures. I invite you, my readers, to enjoy the good stories and epic tales from the Dungeons of Dragons!

City

Serenity Bay

Population: Large City (think New York City)

Economy: Primarily Fishing, Lobster, Crab, Squid, and several species of fish.

History:

Serenity Bay was founded by the Royal Elder Family soon after their revolt of the dominating rule of the Thrall. That was over one hundred years ago and the city has grown and is the center of fishing trade in the kingdom.

Royal Family:

King Edward Elder is the son of William and Juliet Elder. He has ruled over the Western Kingdom for almost 15 years now. King Edward is married to Elisabeth O'Hare together they have two sons Alexander and Thomas Elder with one daughter Lillian Elder. He makes his home in Serenity where his father's before him ruled.

Places of Interest:

Time Bandit Inn:

The Time Bandit has been apart of the bay for years and is a favorite for the king's navy men, other local fishermen, and ship owners. The inn's entrance is in the shape of a giant fishing barrel laying on its side with the "Time Bandit" burned across the doorway.

Rooms are 10 copper a night for one bedroom, two bedroom are 1 silver 50 copper and a suite that has access to a private bath and can hold up to four people are 2 silver 15 copper and have access to a private bathing room. There is a bath house for 5 copper.
Three meals are served in the dining hall breakfast, lunch and dinner and are 5 copper a plate.
Ale is 2 copper.

The Bardic Knowledge Library:

Founded by Phoebe Highlander at the request of King Elder, shortly after the war. The Bardic Knowledge Library is one of the largest buildings in town aside from the temple and King Elder's castle. It contains the works of many power wizards of the past, the travels of well known bards even from Phoebe herself and the complete history of the bay. There are some sections of the library that are restricted and access is only given to those with written permission by the king himself. (For any non-restricted areas you gain a +4 bonus on all knowledge checks done while in the library.)

New Addition:
A museum has been built to display all the art and artifacts collected throughout Serenity's history. Works from local artists and treasures telling the tales of epic battles during the wars.

MoonShade

Government:

The royal council appoints its members over the cities throughout the kingdom. Lady Julia, one of the most senior council member, is assigned over MoonShade. Her and her family have been faithful to watch over the city and its residences.

Main Taverns:

The Rusty Sword Saloon - one of the more busier tavern's in the town, known for their wide range of beverage. Owner/bartender named Barrick who is a dwarf. bald on top with reddish hair around his ears and also a red beard.

Peasant's Barrel - the more rough and tumble bar a lot of BIGGER characters run around here located near the coast on the port. Its owned by a group of merchants.

Succubus’s Blues Tavern - walking by one can smell burning incense and sweet perfume. Blue shades cover the windows. The soft sound of violin music floats through the air. Its a place for rest and ...other things...

Magic in a Bottle - potions and elixirs ran by an elf named Marland

Pixie Dust - Wands and rods crafted and sponsored by the Mage College

Places of Interest:

Murdock College of Magic - A large college that teaches wizards of all schools of magic, also has a shop in town called “Magic in a Bottle”

The Circle - Drudic circle offering animal care services, herbs and remedies
